BELIEFS

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired in the whole and in the parts, the all sufficient rule of faith and practice and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21

The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing as three persons in one essence, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who created all things. Matthew 28:19-20; Hebrews 1:1-3

God the Father
We believe in God, The Father, an infinite, personal Spirit perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who comes to Him through Jesus Christ. Matthew 6:32; 1 Peter 1:2; Jude 1:1

Deity of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ; the Son of god was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born to the Virgin Mary, atoned for our sins by dying on the cross, rose on the third day and is coming again to judge the living and the dead according to the prophecies in scriptures. 1Corinthians 15:3-4

The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide. John 14:16-17; 26

The Church
The church is the body of Christ, consisting of all born again believers. Through this new birth, we are united together with the body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the head of the church. Ephesians 1:3-4, 22
We believe that water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the ordinances of the church in this age.

Water baptism symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is an outward symbol of an inner change. Romans 6:4-10

The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic expression of our sharing in the divine nature of the Lord Jesus, a memorial of His suffering, death and resurrection. All believers should practice these ordinances. 1 Corinthians 12:1-31

Divine Healing
We believe that Divine Healing is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers. God frequently chooses to answer the prayer of believers for physical healing. James 5:14-18

Last Things
We believe the Blessed Hope of all the redeemed is the Rapture of the Church, the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth to establish His earthly kingdom. Luke 12:39-40; Revelations 1:7
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost. Revelations 20:11-15, 21:1-22; Matthew 25:41, 46; John 5:28-29
